more than 50 % cant read and write
Most of them are migrant workers of Bihar and U.P. living in metro cities of India like Mumbai, Chennai, Banglore, Delhi and so on and doing job of
truck drivers
rickshaw pullers
auto/taxi drivers
construction and industrial labour
security guards
domestic help
in service and hospitality sector
Women and girls are doing job of Commercial Sex Workers
Children are living as “street children”
Youth are becoming “drug addicts”
Most of them are never tested for HIV in life
many of them dont know what HIV/AIDS is
Yes, its true, pepole at the bottom of pyramids called India dont know what HIV/AIDS is ?
Its spreading at alarming pace in diffrent regions across population of India
If correct measures are not taken by goverment the eraliest situation will get worse, economy and development both will be affected and there will be massive burdon on public health.
Goverment of India must act now

I can not understand why goverment is neglecting the most basic thing when it comes to HIV/AIDS “Prevention is better than cure” goverment must act now before its too late…
people sitting in the ivory tower must realize situation is getting horrific, and they realize the responsibility of state and do whatever is required to deal with the menace called HIV/AIDS.
People need help, support goverment of India must act now before its too late…..
its an epidemic there…there is no hope
teach them how to use condomes.
There is no use telling us now. we have to act and bring the facts to the lower class.
I think it’s great that they are not getting tested. India should focus on distributing nutritious food to these poor people than worrying about HIV.
If 90 % of the HIV positive in India are poor – you are telling me that HIV have the ability to discriminate between rich and poor. Or it could be malnutrition and repeated infections (fever, flu, chickengunya) that are causing the HIV tests to be positive.
I would leave this poor people alone. They don’t need any viral drugs. They will live longer without them.
A lot of evidence now points to after all “HIV does not cause AIDS”.

2.No researcher can be absolutely sure that a positive HIV test proves the existence of HIV virus in a person. In United States, here is a warning in oraquick rapid HIV test label
“Reactive result using the OraQuick® Rapid HIV-1 Antibody Test suggests the presence of anti-HIV-1 antibodies in the specimen.” – If you read it carefully you will find that it does not suggest the presence of virus itself! By the way an anti-HIV antibody is not very specific to HIV.
The problem is astronomical with most victims totally ignorant of the consequences of their actions!
